He ignored all the strange and wonderful sights and smells; he did not want to seem ignorant and uncultured. As he reached the suburbs of the city, he noticed the bank of mist ahead. Surely that should have burned off in the sun by now? He approached more warily as he had earlier in the day.

Very odd. He was sure it had been a southerly wind earlier; now it seemed to be blowing towards the city to the east. It also made no affect on the fog. He still felt very out of place. Maybe fetching his spare hat would help. That, and a drink. He took a deep breath, and stepped through the mist. [OOC: Continued in Jones: "Farmland: Where's my hat?"]
