[Liason enters the Patch from Jones' tot he West]
Through the streets of Alcos a tall, wiry figure strides along briskly. Dressed mostly in blacks and whites, the only colour about him is the deep turquoise of the lining in his cloak, which flaps behind him as he runs.
The man looks weary, but never slows his pace - an expression of grim determination on his narrow, pale face.
He is Ambassador Liason of the Imperial Foundry and if he does not soon find a way to return there then many lives may be lost.

Not ten minutes behind the Ambassador came Captain DeRainault and her crewman Habbakkuk, both on the alert with weapons at the ready in this strange new place. Most disconcerting, of course, was the fact that it was no longer night here, but thankfully the path they took led them through some of the more deserted streets until the Captain spotted the large sculpture of an arrow, prominently placed in the central gardens. It was pointing south. "I do believe that is our cue, Habakkuk." The Captain said, waving her hand toward the sign. "Course due south, unless I am very much mistaken." Moving more briskly now, the pair took the most direct route possible to the extreme south of the city, and the wall of mist that rose up there.
[Captain DeRainault has left the Academy, and heads for the Map Room patch.] |
