He drifted towards the centre of the patch for a while, and opened the box. Inside was a brass contraption about two feet tall with a bulbous bottom and a pole sticking out vertically. At the top of the pole was a plaque in the shape of a arrow. He removed the strange item from the box, and let go. It floated gently in place making a fait whirring sound. After a few moments the arrow swung around to point east. Apparently satisfied with his work, the man floated back towards the edge of the patch.
