The van passed through an archway filled with mist, and Father Michael experienced a wrenching sensation in his gut. From the howl, it was obvious that Pietro was also affected. However, this sensation quickly passed and Father Micheal found himself looking through the windscreen to a desert. [OOC: Continued in City in the Sands]
