Deep within the Imperial Foundry, the assembly of Significant Entities was underway. Tea and biscuits had been served as a matter of etiquette, which was somewhat pointless since none of the assembled Entities either drank tea or ate biscuits. Attendant munched his way through several whilst he sat by the door, pondering how dull his job was sometimes.
It is time to consider policy. Resources have finally begun to accumulate. Information concerning the changed environment has begun to accumulate. There are still many difficulties.
One. Ambassador Liason seldom reports for duty. He is no longer considered a traitor, but is considered a very lazy and insubordinate fellow and should be subject to discipline. His special properties make him useful enough that he is not to be reprocessed.
Two. There have been reports of intangible salvage units jumping out from behind curtains and transmitting 'Wooooo !' at passing staff members. This is disruptive to productivity and we must look into ways to prevent it. However, no more Enforcers should be ordered to arrest the wayward units, since this is proving distressing to the Enforcers, who cannot interact with them in any way other than to communicate.
Three. Non-Imperial third parties are present. We must form policy towards them.
The floor was then opened to discussion, but there was very little of it in the end because all those present were part of the same composite mind and tended to agree with one another.
The meeting was declared closed. A ghost salvager jumped out and shouted 'Wooooo !', causing one of the Artificer Nodes to scoot backwards and upset the teapot.
The teapot broke and was subsequently listed for reprocessing. |
