Larkin stumbled into the rainforest and immediately gasped at how hot it was here, compared to on the other side of the mist. He contemplated taking his coat off, but he tended to feel naked without it so stayed wrapped up.
Making up his mind he strode off east, further into the deep rainforest, leaving the mist behind him. He saw a clearing and a village up ahead, so he deicided to go and have a peek at what the people were like in this part of the universe. |

Larkin had been watching the stupid village for hours now. He couldn't see anything but a few shapes moving around. He didn't want to go any closer in case they turned out to be cannibals or something, so after many hours of watching Larkin made up his mind.
Crawling out from underneath the plant he had been hiding under he scrambled away. Trying not to fall on the soaking mud Larkin ambled his way North through the vegetation |

| Larkin had reached the northen mist, but couldnt see through. The mist was far too thick for him, even with his sharp eyesight. Shrugging he decided to chance it and once again went through his ritual. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and forced himself to step through the mist, leaving his rather uneventful time in this patch behind. |

The two hunters who had been tracking Larkin stopped at the edge of their territory. One pointed his javelin at the tracks Larkin has left in the mud. Their shaman had told them of strange spirits that dwelled in the deep forests, but did spirits leave footprints? And if this was a beast they had followed, it did not look like good eating.
The other hunter shrugged, and they headed back towards the village. |
