(OOC: Abigail and the apprentices have come from Dark Towers: 'Not green any more')
"See? Another world!" Abigail waved her arm around expansively, and then held it up to her face. Was it her imagination, or was she looking a little more like herself?

A second later Tal and Suli appeared behind them, staring in amazement at the new place they found themselves in.
Vivi was equally amazed but was the first to recover herself.
"Where are we?" she asked. "I've never seen anywhere like it. Are those all real trees?" |

"I don't know! There's just all these different worlds all over the place! They just appeared! Isn't it cool? And this one's a jungle! That's..." Abigail counted on her fingers.
"Your world was a magic school, then there was the green bouncy world, then there was the blue floaty world, then there was the train station, then there was Toon Town! Six different worlds!"
She looked around at her companions. "Shall we explore?" _________________ That's all folks! |

"Dark Towers is not exactly a magic school," Tal said with an edge of worry in his voice. "We're not really supposed to leave without Snark's permission. Even the older apprentices aren't..."
"But we don't have charms for a while yet," Suli pointed out. "And anyway it's always chaos. We won't be missed."
"How big are the worlds?" Vivi asked, her arm was still linked with Abigails but she was begionning to step forward. "You said you just visited five, how long did it take you? Maybe we could go and see a few more before we have to get back?" |

Abigail paused before being forced to admit "I don't really know. I was in the train station for ages, but I got a bit lost. I... can't really remember how long I was in the floaty place... And I bounced around in the green place for ages, and I was having so much fun but then I accidentally bounced into your world. But I think they're quite small," she concluded definitely.
She took a step into the jungle. _________________ That's all folks! |

The three apprentices went with her. None of them had ever seen a jungle before and Abigail gathered from their amazed exchanges that all they knew was different kinds of castle, some of which had small rooftop gardens. They had read about trees though.
"Wood is one of the lesser elements," Tal said informatively. "It's not a pure elemental, so you don't use it in greater magics. But a magister can call a spirit from the realm of wood. In theory anyway."
"Metal's another of the lesser elements," Suli added. "Like wood it's a world element, not one of the aetherials. Maybe there's a world of metal further on?" He got suddenly excited. "Perhaps the worlds are elemental spheres... and we've found our way into them!"
"Blue's not an elemental sphere," Vivi said crushingly. "And neither is Bouncing. Honestly," she shook her head and exchanged a glance with Abigail. "Some people can't begin to think about something before talking themselves the most hopeless nonsense."
A few moments later, as they splashed through a stream while water dripped on them from above and a cloud of insects flittered through the damp air Vivi added.
"It's like the splashery after Elanderial, Siobhean and Astyrea have been washing their hair." |

"If you're wizards, what spells can you do?" Abigail asked Vivi. "I used to be able to make things exist, but I can't any more."
She paused. "At least, I couldn't in your world." She put a hand into a pocket, and, with a beaming smile, drew out a pencil.
"It works again!" She put the pencil back in her pocket, and set off through the jungle with renewed energy.

The apprentices looked at Abigail and then shrugged. None of them were much impressed at her having taken a pencil out of her pocket.
But as they continued through the jungle Vivi kept glancing at her new friend curiously. Perhaps it was just the light but somehow Abigail seemed brighter than before and there was something about her clothes that didn't seem exactly right. |

"This is so cool!" said Abigail. "I've never been in a jungle before! It's all so green!"
"But not as green as the bouncy world," she added, as an afterthought.
"And all the little streams! They're so cute!" She jumped nimbly onto a rock in the middle of one of the streams, and then over to the other side, and turned to wait for her companions. _________________ That's all folks! |

Balancing on the wet rocks Vivi essayed the jump and landed safely on the other side.
"I don't see how somewhere so wet can be so hot at the same time," she said, looking through the misty depths of the jungle.
"Maybe it's a spell?" Tal suggested, taking a run up and leaping over the stream, catching himself on a tree on the other side.
"Maybe..."
There was a splash and some flailing and scrabbling before the third apprentice pulled himself up on the other side. His grey robes were now dripping wet and smeared with greenish slime.
"Oh no!" Tal said. Grabbing at Suli's cloak and missing, as it floated down the river.
"Who had the herb bag!" Vivi said, and then grabbed at the belt Suli was wearing, fumbling to untie it. "Get it off quickly before the components start to react!"
Abandoning the cloak Tal took out a small dagger and cut the belt from his friend. All three sighed in relief as the collection of herb bags fell away and on to the ground.
Suli looked down at his bedraggled robes and the ruins of his belt.
"Oh... Science!" he cursed. And sneezed. |

Abigail looked thoughtful, and put her hand in a pocket.
"Here!" she said, pulling a large amount of blue fabric from her pocket. She opened it out, revealing a long, Toony, wizard's robe. It was bright blue, with yellow stars and red fireballs all over it. "This is a proper wizard's robe!"
She took another look at Suli, and produced a fluffy orange towel from another pocket. "Towel?" _________________ That's all folks! |

"Now that's cool," Tal said admiringly.
Suli looked at the robes with a kind of stunned amazement, but a second sneeze decided him and he struggled out of his wet and slimy clothing into the orange towel.
Huddling himself into it as if it were a fluffy cloak he sneezed again, slime was still dripping out of his black curly hair.
"Do you have a other towel for his head?" Vivi said, looking at Abigail. |

Abigail grinned suddenly, pulled a piece of paper from a pocket, sat down and started to draw. After a moment, she nodded, and the piece of paper began to change. At first it looked like two cylinders, attached at right angles, and then the upper cylinder acquired a face, big Toony eyes, and a large circular mouth.
"Hairdryer!" declared Abigail, tapped it on the head, and passed it to Suli. The hairdryer started to blow warm air out of its mouth. "You hold it near your head and it dries your hair!" _________________ That's all folks! |

Suli's hands were both occupied with holding the towel around him but Tal took charge of the hairdryer and laughed as it squirmed around in his had, having a better idea of how to direct itself (or at least a different one) from the apprentice.
"I wish we had those at the Towers," Vivi said. Her own brown hair was shoulder length and of the kind that gets instantly tangled. It was currently sticking to her face and shoulders and gettign increasingly frizzy in the mist.
With the aid of items toony Suli was soon dried off and Vivi and Abigail turned their backs as he got into the new robes. When they looked around again, Vivi giggled.
"He looks so brightly coloured now," she said. "Those robes are strange, it's almost as if there's a black penumbra at the edges." |

"They're Toon robes! It's like I drew them, only I didn't have to because they're easy!" Abigail explained. "In Toon Town, everything's like that. I am too! Look!" she presented her arm to Vivi. It was now thoroughly Toonified again, and looked very strange to the apprentice. _________________ That's all folks! |
