[Continued from The Chantry: The Unbeliever Goes to Church - note that this is NOT a normal move]

From the mists to the west emerged a man in grey overalls. He was shortly followed by ten huge men in impressive red armour and their even more impressive leader.

The new arrivals were swiftly spotted by a scout patrolling the rooftops. Mr Drills had ordered him to warn of any threat to security and this definitely looked like one.

Attention ! We have 11 armoured intruders with a human moving across the border. Prepare to fire the trebuchet !

There was a long pause, followed by a slightly embarassed reply.

We can't, we haven't finished building it yet. In fact, we haven't even got all the bits we need.

The scout considered matters for a while, before advising.

In that case everybody hide !

Smight was not surprised when the passage through the mists had resulted in his arrival in a completely unfamiliar place. But he viewed the city ahead with a lowering frown. This place looked irritatingly like a temple complex.

"What is this place?" he demanded, levelling an immense red sword at the Janitor. "Where is Karl Groever? Answer me, dog!"

"Erm, well, this is known as the map room. I think you'll find Karl is just over there," he said gesturing to the east.

"Then I shall go that way and find him," Smight announced. "Ten men, follow me."

It was not clear if he'd forgotten he only had ten men with him but all of the warriors formed up into a marching line and trooped off after the Unbeliever.

Behind them the Janitor watched them leave.
