[ooc- Avinneyya arrives from The Academy- red hose's big adventure]
Avinneyya was struck by the change as he walked through the mist; where Alcos had been bright, vibrant and crowded, this patch was dull, gray, and empty. Still, there was a continuation, of sorts, of the city, with dull, functional buildings dotting the patch. He began to wander soutward, looking for a map or a sign.

Avinneyya heard noises off in the distance- voices, and a strange whirring and buzzing- and began to make his way towards them, winding his way between buildings.

As he walked, some of the noises began to resolve into a sound not unlike a group of men marching. The voice from the same direction sounded strangely casual alongside it.
