Annaleigh

Annaleigh Bonchasseur is the owner of a country mansion in the Bois d'Arbonne. She is a widow, and lives alone except for two family servants.

Annaleigh is a stylish young woman of Louisiana in the 1890's, although she often trades in her bustle for a more practical split-skirt. When she is patrolling the estate grounds, she often wears a pair of her late husbands trousers and one of his shirts that her maid has altered to fit. She is of medium build, and she is fairly muscular (you could see it if it werent for those long sleeves and skirts). Her features are regular, but nothing spectacular. Her light brown hair is often pulled up into a simple chignon to keep it out of the way. When she braids it for bedtime (and sometimes for daytime), the braids reach just past the bottom edge of her shoulder blades. Her warm, intelligent eyes are a few shades darker brown than her hair. She is nineteen years old.

Jean-Paul Bonchasseur, Annaleigh's late husband, was French. His family owns vineyards in the Medoc peninsula. He was the second son of the family, and was sent to Louisiana to investigate the possibility of starting a vineyard there. He toured the whole state, arriving in Union Parish shortly before the cotillion at which Annaleigh made her debut into society. He managed to catch her for the third dance,and the rest is history. They were married shortly after; she was sixteen, he was twenty. He died a few months ago.

Annaleigh travels with Maxim and Chevalier, although Chevalier is currently grazing by himself in Yggdrasil.
