The patchwork possesses a great number of books. In addition to the books present in the various patches there are also publications organised by the Gods such as the Travel Guide and the Patchwork Encyclopedia. The largest collection of these is owned by Vivi, an apprentice mage.
The contents of the books created by the patchwork Gods change. New content appears at irregular intervals. This is known to apply to the Travel Guide, Tourist map and to Vivi's book of Fairytales.
Apart from the divinely created books, there are a number of other useful books that serve as guides to various patches. Mab Feenan possesses a collection of books from Dark Towers and Dungeon Crawl which she uses in her magical studies.
