Dear Players,
Thank you for your continued involvement in patchwork universe. This is an update on the game in progress.

Reshuffle
The map was reshuffled on the 3rd of December. Please visit the maps area to see the various representations of the map. The map can also now be viewed on the main forums index page.
Some patches belonging to inactive players have been moved out of the map temporarily. If you've taken a leave of absence from patchwork don't forget that you can return by notifying the GMs that you'd like your patch to be reactivated. No information is ever lost although inactive characters will in some cases be returned to their patch by the Janitor.
Power levels
Individual player/patch power ratings can be found on the power levels list.
Statistical information
We currently have 16 active players, not including the four active GMs or five players taking a leave of absence who plan to return. 11534 articles have been posted to the current generation of the forums. Individual post statistics can be viewed on the forum memberlist page.
Poking protocol
A protocol for sending poking message and advising GMs of slows and stalls has now been drafted. Players can read up on this at the wiki page linked here or discuss matters arising on the Gameplay forum.
Please try to use this protocol and let us know how it works.
Patch maps
We currently only have internal patch maps for six patches. Patch maps are useful guides to what's in an individual patch and having one can avoid continuity errors. Obviously some patches are very difficult to map. But, the Museum, one of the more complex patches does in fact have a map, provided by Henry which, while designed as schematic flavour imagery, can still be plugged in to the patch maps page.
Please send us maps of your patches as gifs or jpgs and we will slot these into the patch maps map and place them on the wiki pages for your patches.
