Hermit patches

From PatchworkWiki

A term used to describe patches where the concept of the primary character is that they avoid interaction with others.

Typically this is due to the character restricting themselves to a (potentially inaccessible) section of the patch and failing to engage or only engaging tangentially with visitors to the patch. As with Walled patches or Trap patches this type of patch is discouraged because they do not comply with one of the main objectives of Patchwork, the interaction of characters from disparate worlds.

Note that a character who is a hermit does not neccessarily indicate that a patch would be considered a "hermit patch", for example Yaroslav considered himself a hermit, but the character traveled out into the wider patchwork to discover why he had been brought there.
