Maypole Hill

To the extremely casual eye, Maypole Hill looks like a twenty-first century English village. However, one does not have to get very close to realise that something is badly wrong.

History
Maypole Hill is currently under the control of Sir Fitzwilliam Waters and his four guards. Sir Waters lived in the nineteenth century; he was the local land owner. However, he dabbled in necromancy and left spells that brought about his return - to twenty-first century Maypole Hill. Now back, he is lacking a corporeal workforce. Hence, his guards farm the area immediately around the town (badly) and he has appropriated the village hall as his residence.
There are ghosts throughout the patch. All are human and they are either the original twenty-first century dwellers of the village or the archeologists who came from Cambridge University to look for Roman ruins and instead they found Sir Waters.
Inhabitants
Humans
Sir Fitzwilliam Waters - Owned property in the village in the early nineteenth century. In interested in religions. His house burned down in 1824 and he was believed to be inside. Now brought back through a spell he has returned to take control of his former property. Sir Waters has four guards working for him (Daniel, Theo, Nicholas and Noah).
Gobban - Gobban is the only human in the patch not (or, perhaps I should say, no longer) in Sir Waters employ. Gobban is of average height and build with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has scavenged clothes from a scarecrow and washing lines (over-sized blue trousers, a long red and yellow checked shirt and a shabby straw hat) and, therefore, looks odd.
Max - Early thirties, tall, mid-brown hair and eyes the same colour. Max is in charge in Jewel's absence. Max was recently converted back to human state by a spell of Sir Waters'.
Ghosts
Note : All the Ghosts are dressed in twenty-first century England clothes.
Village
Enid Holloway - "Lives" in a cottage next to the village green. Enid is a historian and knows something of the patch's (non-PU) past.
Dig Site
Tamsin - One of the first to arrive on the site, Tamsin is a small woman in her twenties with short, untidy dark hair and a round face.
Jewel Hart - An archeologist
Transport
There is a station with both an overground and an underground train service. Both are connected to the Terminus network.
There is also a ghost buggy, a toon drawn by Abigail, which Max has bequeathed to Jewel. However the buggy is unable to leave the patch until a traveller stops and helps it.
