Peaceful Sky
From PatchworkWiki
Twenty-seven cubic miles of fresh summer sky, coloured a deep cerulean blue. A bright sun shines high overhead and the air is warm, a gentle breeze caressing the skin and carrying with it a pleasant fragrance, one which you're sure you recognise but can't quite place. Small fluffy white clouds drift across the sky at a leisurely pace, appearing out of the mists on one side of the Patch and vanishing into them on the other. At the bottom of the Patch a thick layer of white cloud floats gently along without a break, tufts and billows rising up above the surface like the waves on a frozen sea of cream. The whole area possesses a soothing air of peace and tranquility.
The ground levels (or sea levels) of adjacent Patches, where they exist, are about halfway up the edges of this Patch. Anyone entering this Patch without some means of flight will fall (though relatively slowly) for some distance before landing conveniently on one of the drifting clouds. These clouds provide a nice soft landing and appear to be capable of supporting a reasonable amount of weight.
